Featured in 2025 Dementia Resource Directory of NYC

We are proud to share that Renewal Memory Partners has included Concerts in Motion in their 2025 Dementia Resource Directory of NYC (Edition 3).

Concerts in Motion has been partnering with Renewal Memory Partners since 2022 to provide concerts tailored to persons with dementia or cognitive decline and their caregivers — bringing moments of joy and connection.

As described by Jessica Phumalee (Renewal Memory Partners), the resource directory is “a compilation of the programs and services available from nonprofits primarily for people in NYC with dementia and their loved ones.” Phumalee notes, “The Directory is a joint collaboration between Renewal and Ira Asherman, the founder of the Alzheimer's and Dementia Resource Center of NYC.”

Did you know Concerts in Motion offers a weekly virtual concert specially designed for persons with dementia and their caregivers? Because the program is fully grant and donor-supported, it’s free of charge for participants.
